Oh that's super cool of you to share! I just sort of accepted it as just being how it is, but I'll definitely give this a try if my newest build is still having the same issue. Thank you so much for the tip!

Thank you for playing! I planned it to be longer originally but in the end I didn't have time to implement more encounters unfortunately. definitely something to look at if I have time later on. thanks for the comments!

Thanks! I was hoping I could have had more npc encounters but in the end I didn't have time to implement any more. If I end up updating the game I'll definitely add more chances to use health as a bargaining chip

Thank you for playing! I'm so glad you enjoyed it enough to give it a couple of tries even!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad I could surprise you

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. My background is mostly in art so renpy is an easy engine to use for jam games for me. Plus I do think it could use more love!

This one made my brain hurt. In a good way, though! I didn't get very far but it's a super interesting idea and I enjoyed it a lot.

I did! I unlocked it and decimated most of the map before I found the monster at the bottom of the world. It took me a second to figure out the controls but it was a lot of fun just destroying everything with it!

That actually helps a ton, makes it feel a lot more forgiving with destroyed blocks and some of the pits that turn out to be much deeper than I thought. I just went looking for the bottom of the world for the heck of it and found there's actually stuff there. A lot of jam games feel rough around the edges but this one really feels like a complete game!

Found the bottom of the world and murdered a thing, 10/10 would recommend

ahh sorry about that, and thanks for letting me know! I added downloadable versions so hopefully those will work for you.

Simple and neat!

This is a cool idea and the art is dope. I do not have the skill to beat this game, but that might say more about me than the game itself :'D

This was really fun (and the soundtrack slaps) but after you play a while, especially with the more powerful gun, it becomes really hard to maintain a route back. I was trying to be careful but accidentally destroyed a block in my return route and softlocked myself. A jump upgrade might help with that? Overall really nice though!

Super fun idea!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much!

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it (and got the doggo ending)!

Interesting prospect. I kind of do want to add more branching options to this, and this is not a bad idea... Although the first ghost might just be even more intrigued by a possessed mortal!

I'm legit tempted to add in a dialog tree that's just "AAAAAAAAH" for every answer... But I think our protagonist might be too sleep deprived to muster that much energy in the end.

The controls are very nice and responsive. The layout of the maze makes things a bit tricky since it's very hard to see where you should go to find the keys.

Super cool game, I'd love a full version of this! It would be cool to see the different pieces maybe have different projectiles, and I agree that other enemy types would be dope besides just the speedup, but overall this is a very solid game/concept and super nice for 3 hours

Fun concept and fun gameplay! I love the visuals and the sound. I was a little confused at first but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I wish you could retry without having to reload, though, and sometimes the game kind of screws you over where it's impossible to survive. It would be nice to have a spot, maybe somewhere really inconvenient (in a corner?) where you're always safe from your infectious roommates.

It really is pretty unbalanced, but I love the idea and it's pretty fun to play! Really nice for 3 hours.

Took me a sec to get the hang of it but this is really fun and interesting. Not easy, not too difficult, definitely pretty unique!

This is pretty interesting. It's pretty difficult, too, if you're playing by the rules. That darkness mechanic is brutal! But I do have to note I found an exploit:

You can just kinda... go around. They're still after my blood, though!

Nice, very fun gameplay but I did not get super far because I suck at it. Love the graphics. Wish Banana Boi would stop slipping between platforms to take a stylish dive in murderstuff, but I'd just have to get good for that to be a thing...

This is so cool! With sound, I could probably spend hours trying to actually beat this, but it's really impressive that you managed to still make it scary without any audio at all. Chika kept hovering outside my door and I felt genuine dread. Very nice for a 3-hour game, and I love the visual style!

This is a fun idea, and visually more appealing than I anticipated. The buttons feel a little unresponsive, though, and at least in my browser it was super, super loud. Had to mute it to play, but I played for a while after muting so clearly the concept works even without audio :)

Thank you so much for the feedback and for taking the time to play my game! I'm super glad you liked it. Loved your video, the voices you did are spot on!

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this! I used the template for a spooky/comedy jam entry and it was perfect! Let me know what you think if you check it out :) Thanks again!

Thanks for these! I ended up using a bunch of loops in my spooky/comedy Trijam project (menu, good ending(s), bad ending). Let me know what you think if you check it out!
