Please excuse my poor English; as English is not my mother tongue, I had to use a translator in places to express myself in English.

This game has a cool concept, but the implementation is not as good as it could have been. First of all, the player's character has an outline, but everything else does not. This just doesn't add up and is unfortunately a slight downgrade to otherwise very good visuals.

Next, I think (this is just a personal opinion) that the game is overly difficult right at the start. I know that I'm not very good at platform games, but I still think it would be better if the game became more difficult over time, rather than suddenly becoming so difficult that it's no longer manageable, at least for me.

Otherwise, the game is really great. I really didn't expect a voice-over for a game that has to be created within 3 hours. The fact that the game has a background story, why the player acts the way he does, is also a plus. The music also fits the game perfectly and encourages the player to hurry a little more, as it conveys the feeling that there is only a little time left.

Overall, I think this game is really worth playing, as the weaknesses mentioned above are not too serious, which is why the game gets 4/5 points from me.

I didn't realise that the player is the only one to have the outline, but now that I know it the game looks really weird.

About the difficulty, the theme of the jam is "1 minute of gameplay", so I cannot create a game that goes difficult in a time, it's one of the two: "difficult game" or "easy game"

I'm glad my feedback could help. I think I was a little unclear about the difficulty: I meant that the further you get in the game, the higher the difficulty becomes, not that, for example, after 30 seconds the difficulty doubles, because I know that something like that would have been very difficult to implement.

Good game, nice touch in change tile colors in areas with new abilities, for me its ok to make the jump part hard as it is, but i would try to make the difficult more progressive, the first jump is just one of the hardest, because you can hit with the head and just fall, its good to make a safe place for the first usage of new abilities, so the player can sacrifice a run to practice.
I recommend write the controls, as a brazilian and english not being my first language when the narrator said "press 'K' to dash" I just was "Press what? A key? What Key? Oh! Its 'K'!!!Where is the 'K' key?! Oh! Its there!But my Right hand is on the arrows! Oh damn! times up!" XD. I just change to "A" and "D" and beat it.

For me too, English is not my first language, I come from Morocco and my first language is Arabic.

I wanted to add a text, so everyone can understand, but the time was so close and I reserved the last minutes to fix the bugs.

Cool concept but needs improvements. IMHO movement is too slippery (mountain climbing was frustrating but doable once memorized) and controls are not optimized. I wonder if changing Dash to Left Shift or Left Control would make game enjoyable. Restarting and going back to menu with key pressed would be cool too.

Pros for text-to-speech voicelines and adrenaline pumping track playing in background. It’s really cool for this type of game and I think in combination with more fitting tiles would make perfection.

Overall that’s a decent game made under 3 hours. Took me tens of tries but I didn’t give up and finished it with under 4 seconds remaining. I hope you find my opinion helpful and not offensive in any way.

Such a fun game!! really challenging and frustrating but after some time you start learning the jumps and getting further and further! great job! keep up the great work!

This game is FRUSTRATINGLY GOOD! I must have made at least 50 attempts before getting to the end goal. The choice of music was really great at pumping me up and keeping me going. One critique i have is designating the dash button as "k" was a little awkward for my fingers. I had to hold the keyboard in a weird way since my right hand was using the arrow keys and my left thumb was on the spacebar and my pointer finger on the "k" button.  Also maybe introduce all the abilities a little earlier in the game so the player has more time to adjust. Other than than Awesome Job!

Thanks for all your advice, about the "K" button, you can use WASD and it will solve your problem, I should make another key for the dash for those who play with arrow keys.

Pretty neat look and good old platformer gameplay. I would limit the amount of precision jumps as others have mentioned or I'd use some platformer techniques that allows for snappy platforming so that you don't fall so easily. The background story is good addition and motivation. Overall well designed level for such a short time, good job!

Edit: I see you really get a bunch of comments for platforming. You can check platformer controller that I used in my "Orange square" Trijam game. It's by tarodev, it might solve some of the issues mentioned in comments and be a good aid in the future games.

was very fun to play!

The character felt a little too slippery, and I didn't know where to go a lot of the time.

But after a few minutes, I won!

Great game! Nice visuals!

Wasn't able to beat it tho since I suck at platformers. The character sliding a bit after button release and it having circular collider made it a bit more difficult.
