This was an ambitious project! I tend to dislike auto-scrolling text because it's either too slow or too fast. A click to continue button would do wonders here, as I know the text speed you selected is going to be too fast for most people to comfortably read. It lacks some explanation to really make the game shine. I like your backgrounds quite a bit; the first image is what drew me in and made me really want to play this game.

ok this is very clever from a narrative standpoint but falls short on execution. The UI and visual feedback are hindering my eagerness to immerse further in this, but the concept is quite fun.

You recruit others to do your bidding by stepping in the mysterious portal. It's like mystic cookie clicker (but without needing to spam the click button early on).

Top two things I would've liked:

1. Clarity in the UI of what is going on / what state has changed by pressing a button. Maybe an event log would help.

2. MORE TEXT that is as appealing as the intro text. There may have been, but I didn't make it deep enough in the journey to see any :/

Great work on this!

Nice to see a text adventure game, was a bit lost to start with but managed to figure out what to do. Some more feedback would be nice. Overall very fun, great game

Great originality.  Liked the mystery of it all.  Might need a little more explanation or feedback as I got a bit lost.  Nice game
