Love the animation and audio! It took a minute to figure out the purpose of moving the stairs - like the end goal/where Slinky was supposed to go, ig - but after understanding, it was VERY fun to try and solve each puzzle. I really enjoyed this, great job.

So glad you enjoyed it! Sorry the goal was confusing at first.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

That game is awesome! It's too bad that it's only available on windows. I love the frenetic struggle to get everything into place. I was also really impressed with the animations for the slinky.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We tried to get an HTML5 version working but apparently, GameMaker is terrible at that ^^;

Super fun game! Probably my favorite of the jam so far! I like how the first stage organically teaches controls to the player. Sound effects, music and animation all felt great. I think this game has a lot of potential if you wanted to make it into a mobile game. Three suggestions:

- Lock a piece and prevent it from being moved when the player is on it that way you can't just reuse one block the entire time

- Instead of a countdown have a button to start the level, sometimes I'd be almost set up and the level would start and I would just have to set up quickly

- If you continue working on it, some sort of grid overlay when the player moves blocks would be nice. Just visual feedback showing where blocks can and cannot go would be nice.

Overall, fantastic game!

Cute blob! I liked the pixel art. Only thing is, I found the abuzz. You can get through a level with one block if you move it in time after the blob jump animation. Otherwise, great job!

Developer

Oh gosh. That wasn't precisely intentional. We were trying to have the ability to re-use blocks over the course of a puzzle, so I guess if you're fast enough you can just re-use the same block!

Cool idea and well executed. I ended up using only one block each level and moving it in between the steps, which I guess isn't intended. But it felt easier than trying to assemble the blocks correctly.

Developer

Yeah.... we wanted to leave room for making some puzzles that required you to quickly move a block over. Thanks for playing and finding the cheese!
