Wish I'd tried this before. It's great! Feels old school in a good nostalgic way
Getting procedural generation going in just over 3 hours is impressive! Together with the shader it creates quite the athmosphere
The algorithm for the proc-gen is super simple - like a dozen lines of code. (And, I think, it's kind of broken)
But it kind of works because of the bombs because when it create a broken level you can bomb it into compliance :)
I'm a sucker for procedural generation so I played several rounds seeing how far I could get, how fast you can throw bombs, etc. I was having so much fun blowing stuff up I forgot to get potatoes haha.
Glad you are enjoying it. I discovered you can bomb yourself out of the cave if you mash the button enough and fall through the endless grey nothing until you die. That's probably a metaphor for something.
