I was planning a bunch of little Warioware type things.
I massively underestimated how long that would take!

Hi All - at the last minute I hacked mobile/touch support into my game and was surprised how well it worked on my Android devices.

I'd be really interested to see how it behaves on Apple or other types of devices if anyone is willing to take a minute to try the web build on their phone.

Thanks!

Nice feature with the touch screen controls!

Thanks.
The shadow is actually a piece chopped out of the grid texture as I was so out of time :)

Glad you liked it.
Some kind of progress bar and sorting out the landscape were next on my TODO list. That's the problem with 3hr jams, something always gets left out

Thanks!
I always enjoy messing round with physics objects.

The algorithm for the proc-gen is super simple - like a dozen lines of code. (And, I think, it's kind of broken)
But it kind of works because of the bombs because when it create a broken level you can bomb it into compliance :)

Glad you are enjoying it. I discovered you can bomb yourself out of the cave if you mash the button enough and fall through the endless grey nothing until you die. That's probably a metaphor for something.

Thanks.
The enemies got rushed in to hit the deadline. so just aim right for the player. Another 30 minutes and they might not be quite so dumb!

Loved it.
The timing based gameplay reminds me of those old LCD handheld games (which you may remember if you are old like me!)

I really had trouble getting the controls to feel right. I'm still not happy with these but had no more time to tweak.

I'm excited about having "Free" [physics too.

Getting some rigid body squares bouncing around is a few clicks and a dozen lines of code. Getting anything fun to happen is a bit harder.

I'm enjoying it.

I'd been playing around with TIC=80 before which I really liked - I grew up programming C64 and Atari ST and felt really at home. Fixed game loop and access to a bitmap.

I took me a while to get godot as it forced you into it's structure. I almost feel simple things are more difficult in godot - I just played your game and I reckon I could implement something similar in TIC-80 in half the time I could with godot. On the other hand more complex games are definitely easier in godot. A lot of that is familiarity too - I guess.

I'm loving the ability to easily throw a bunch of bloom and CFT shaders on top of everything though!

Thanks.

I love glowey neon bloom and it is so easy to do in godot.

Thanks, glad you like it.

There's a bit of an input bug, you need to press o on the title screen to turn the shader on. It's not working in game.

Thanks!

Just randomised layout and names. I had plans for a difficulty ramp but I really wanted to actually finish one of the 3 hour jams in 3 hours ago so they had to go.

Thanks. It's amazing what enough flashing particles can do to a game's looks.

The goats are mostly a Jeff Minter homage, particularly Ancipital

I was going to pretend that was on propose to match the c64 estheticbut it's mainly due to running out of time to play test.

Good point - thanks!

I don't really like mouse controls but these ones feel excellent. Top job.

Totally, I ran out of time for play testing. All the times are just plucked from thin air. Some more indication of how thirsty the customer is would help too.

Great fun.
I was aiming for a similar concept (if a bit more frantic) but had to drop a bunch of features to get close to the time limit.

I didn't really have time to play this during development so had my first real play today. Game play definitely needs balancing.

So far my high score is $28 and I haven't got all 5 tables filled.
