The game doesn’t seem to detect my keyboard presses that well, I already pressed on all my keyboard keys: and nothing happend…

I’ll just leave this over here since I really can’t rate the game whole-heartedly.

hey, i modified the description, working keys are Z or C for the (O) button and X or V for the (X) button.

Sorry for the confusion!

hmm needed to press almost every key on my keyboard to figure out which key is that O or 0 or whatever that circle with a dot in it is. actually it was C on my keyboard. consider that people are using different keyboards from yours (C is at that position on every english and german keyboard and maybe on some others). it’s dangerous to hard-tie to keys without configuration for other languages. this first contact was a bit confusing – could’ve been done with number keys 1+2 as well and you wouldn’t have such a hazzle for international gaming people.

aside from that, nice idea, must have been quite some work to set this all up! well done!

Yes for the keyboard mapping issue it's a dumb confusion on my part. The game was made on PICO-8, a fantasy console that have 2 buttons, X and O. But those buttons are mapped to Z and X or C and V. For some reason I did reference the PICO-8 button name and not the actual key mapped to the button. My mistake.

Plus, PICO-8 doesn't have a remapping option, which is bad even for me (I sometime use an AZERTY keyboard and I have a weird arrow mapping on my keyboard).

Thank you for playing!

Grappling with what each of the buttons did was pretty confusing. Once I realized how the game worked, however, I actually had some fun with this.

Thank you for persevering!

Lost patience with the buttons being mapped incorrectly.

Hey, sorry for that, the description is fixed now!

Really cool game! For some reason O is Z on my keyboard but once I worked that out it was really fun and I appreciate the debug mode for showing how you made it.

Thank you!
