I have to admit: That was super cool xD It has a great look and feel. But may I ask: Did the level ups had another purpose than healing?

Developer

Thanks, currently leveling up doesn't have any other purpose. It's something I have been thinking about with taking the idea further (like better path finding & SFX). My thought has mainly been leveling up unlocks new abilities such as dashing or something that clears all of the enemies on the screen.

I really love the drawing style, excellent game!

Thanks, all credit for the art goes to Kenney!

I wish there were some sounds and a basic pathfinding for the enemies (rn they get stuck in walls all the time) but I enjoyed the gameplay and the paper aesthetic! Nice job :)

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, SFX was on the list of things to do but just ran out of time, same for the path finding.

I'm working on a updated version that should have these as well as a few other changes.
