I like the idea.

Great concept! I loved how all is self-explanatory and easy to understand. Just need few adjustements, mostly on the plateformer side (inertia, apex jump, coyote time etc) and a faster melting ice (or maybe an upgrade for the flame to be hotter ?)

I think you could have made the whole game about melting ice with the flamethrower!
The platforming was a little rough around the edges, so I this title should stick to it's strengths, and just make it a full flamethrowing ice game :D (if you decide to continue)

The flamethrower was cool!

This was a fun platformer! I liked how the ice blocks would gradually melt, so if you were fast enough you could keep some of the platform intact. Great level design and art. (Also loved that you included respawning!) Great job :)
