super fun and relaxing!! Nice!!!
Thx ! Yes, it's relaxing. I even find myself playing it when I'm bored, haha.
I think making the dice actually roll would make it a lot more satisficing. Also adding effects to like 10x and 2x would make it a lot more satisficing too. I wonder what the rogue like version would look like. The concept by itself was pretty cool! Oh and I got 54 rolls.
I chose not to roll the dice for several reasons. Firstly, to save development time, and secondly to minimize the time between two rolls. Yes, I added very basic effects to the bonuses, again due to time constraints, and to maintain a decent game speed. The original concept was based on having a limited number of rolls to reach 1,000,000. The X2 and X10 bonuses were then replaced by various bonuses that you could choose to improve your chances of reaching this score. If, once the number of rolls was exhausted, you hadn't managed to reach the required score, you could buy dice faces with the round's score to customize the dice and increase your chances of making combinations to trigger the bonuses. And so on, until you managed to reach the score of 1,000,000.
It feels like a clicker hehe.
62 rolls Huzzzah!. The game looks really nice. My only criticism would be that the time between rolling and being able to reroll is maybe a little long. I know you said you wanted it to be a rogue like but I think you could implement some kind of clicker mechanism where the score drops unless you constantly click Roll or you could make it a timed betting game where you lose points if you don’t click in the safe zone, with more score lost the further away from the safe zone you are.
Thanks for your comment! You're right; I should have reduced the time between the rolls (I did it, but not enough, it seems). And you're also right about the clicker mechanism. Sadly, I'm not familiar enough with clicker games to make it a good clicker; the clicker vibes here are entirely unintentional, haha.
