Great submission; I really enjoyed the gameplay.
It could be so much better with audio.
You got the right amount of bubbles spawning to give the game the pace and sense of slowly overwhelming the player. I think you should increase the rate of the slime waterfalls, then have them double or triple later on to add intensity.

Yeah I really wanted to add audio but I had no time left. Maybe increasing the rate of the waterfalls would help the game but I' felt like it gets hard enough fast enough. :D

The game you mention in the description is “Pang”. It has taken me to funy past days.
"Pang" doesn't seem familiar from the images I found online. But it seems like it has a similar base machanic and looks quite fun. I should check it out sometimes, thanks!

This is a very addictive game mechanic. I have no idea how many hours I have played "Bubble Trouble" back in the days :D I like the restful color palette you used. A few sound effects would complete the experience. Nice game all in all!

Yeah, I planned to add some sound effects but I had some tricky bugs to fix and then there was not enought ime left for sound, sadly.
