I think this is a very nice game and unique idea. Good graphics and sound.

Developer

Thanks!!

Fun and interesting entry! I didn't fully understand how feeding humans to the buildings improved them, but as others have said, there's definitely a lot of scope here to expand on this!

Developer(+1)

Right now it increases spawn amount, wood house spawns one human, stone house 2 and so one, its a bandage solution because I ran out of time

A completely fair solution to be honest! Thanks for letting me know, with that in mind I'll play again!

Wow, this prototype has a lot of potential. I adore the card-mechanic-games, and this is very promising. It´s crazy to try making this for a 3 hours game jam, but maybe you can develop this for other jam, it´s really cool. Art is awesome! ^^

I will Try to make a farming type game in upcoming tri jam to get a bit more exp and then get back to this game to polish it. Right now card system and spawning system is solid, backend good as well dynamic easy to make building/card with scriptable objects, but humans dont grow crops right now, well dosent do anything and so on.

Great game! This could definitely be polished into a great piece later. For a game jam game the card system was extremely well developed:)

Thanks!

I know how hard it can be to make a card game and I think you really did something nice here!

One thing I will add is that when you put an element in the deck there should be a big percentage to receive the "farm" of that element (ex human -> house, wheat -> farm)

After some time the slimes become too many to handle but it is just a balancing issue.

Overall the game is fun, I liked it!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I intended to have that mechanic, but I ran out of time. Sacrificing wheat gives only a small reward, while sacrificing humans grants a lot more—but it also has a chance to trigger a Blood Moon.

The graphics are great, clearly the strong point. Unfortunately I didn't quite understand the concept. It was only when I played a second time that I saw that wheat could feed humans and what the point of feeding houses was. I thought I understood that feeding humans makes them evolve and makes them more resistant. There should be a small counter of the number of seconds of survival to quantify the challenge. Maybe a little ambitious for a game jam but this is precisely the opportunity to test things. Good work!

Thanks for Your lovely feedback! I would have never thought of making a deckbuilder where deck can eat units if it weren't for trijam. I just did a hotfix patch maybe it will make game better!

As much as I love the concept, I think that anything involving cards will overshoot a 3 hour mark. The art is adorable and I can definitely feel the bones of something good here, but as it stands it's a little too ambitious.

Developer

Thank You for your kind words. I am debating on working on it further to make a mvp/small demo level version

Love the idea, but it's just too buggy for me.

Developer(+1)

I just did a hotfix patch maybe it will make game less buggy!

My first death came when I was reading the tutorial. There were many more deaths to follow. I really want to see this fully fleshed out because I think there's something really good in there. I also just loved the art.

Just Did a Hot Fix Patch, Thank you for you feedback! I am Debating on working on it more, atleast a small demo!
