fun game! I liked the idea!

Somehow it started really slow (there were no enemies), but when it started it had a nice phase!

Developer

Yep you're right. I've got Version 2.0 ready to upload after the jam is over. All from your feedback!

Fun little game! Always love when people use Unity's particle system :p

Something you could do is make it so you can cycle through the colors both ways instead of just one direction. I sometimes found myself accidentally overshooting the needed color so I would have to cycle all the way back through. I would also maybe decrease the spawn timer as the game goes on to add some more challenge or even up their health.

Developer

I love the particle system too xD Yeah even I feel the spawn time can reduce and the cycling needs to be done too. Got alot of great feedback for post jam for the game. Thanks for playing!

Cool idea! A  little difficult as I was taught ROYGBIV :D

My suggestion would be to show some feedback that the blocks were hit. They could become smaller and/or faster

Developer(+1)

Hahahaha I had no idea people learnt it as ROYGBIV as well xD. And you're right cause it does take 3 hits to kill an enemy, an indicator would be helpful. Thanks for the feedback!

It's a nice game, I enjoyed it. It was just a tad repetitive. I'm not sure if it was doing it already but perhaps adding some acceleration (or making it faster), as well as making both enemies and the player fast could make the game more dynamic, just a suggestion!

Another suggestion: it would be neat to change the colors with the mouse wheel and having the ability to circle the colors in both ways (Violet -> red and red->violet)

Developer

Thanks for the suggestion. I can definitely do that!

Wow. I'm a sucker for twin-stick shooter, and the concept with the colors is really cool.

If I had to nitpick, I had wished for a dedicated crosshair instead of the default mouse cursor, and it was quite hard to distinguish between the two purple colors. But other than that great game. :)

My highscore so far: 310

Developer(+1)

You're right about the two purples but I didn't want to deviate from the classic Vibgyor colours so I went with it. I never thought of a different crosshair though. Thanks for the idea!
