Nice, thick robotic harmonies in the intro. I like how the AI voicals start as whispers (0:54) and become more pronounced over the tune. Thanks for joining the tune jam!
The organ (is it an organ?) at the start feels human, holy. The introduction of electronic instruments and drums at 0:35 feels like the introduction of technology - I like the entry of the drums :). It has a strong electric feel to it until at 1:15, something weird (but fun) is going on… The creation of artificial life! At 1:44, it feels very sweet, and the voices are very nice. Artificial life has just been created… Very nice theming! :D
I really like the robotic sounds at the end but I think it would have been cool if you mixed the song and robot parts more since they are basically completely separated here.
These opening spacey chords make me feel like I’m in an open liminal space in a video game. The driving drums contrast this well giving some forward direction. I’m impressed with the oomph you were able to create with the kick drums. I really like the glitchy sounds throughout which feel like some sort of strange birthing process for the AI being. Great vocal samples and processing of them! I like how the voice plays over the liminal spacey chords. Overall I think you have done a great job with this track creating a very nuanced feeling, that despite not really having a prominent melody, still gives it strong story-telling features. Great work and thank you for sharing!
You've done some great SFX. The transition effect at 40" is excellent. The glitches sound great, as does the bit-reduced voice.
However, on the mixing side, I think the synth sound is too loud (when you remove the low-pass filter).
That's the only slight criticism, because the ambience fits the theme very well.
Thank you for the feedback! It's helped me realize where I could adjust various aspects of not only this track, but also future tracks! This was such a fun jam!
