I’m amazed at how deep/full this bass synth is. There’s a nice unique blend of high (acoustic) piano against the synthesized strings and percussion. Thanks for participating in the tunejam!
Really beautiful notes at the start! And good chord progression (I - IV - IV - I, I believe? At least that one instrument follows those notes, the sound feels richer though, idk). The droning sound starting at 0:29 is perfect for an AI vibe, and the minor key helps too. There’s only little variation on the theme, but it doesn’t feel annoying due to the good quality. Well done :D
Thanks! I've been told my production quality is high, but my composition is lacking. Personally, I like where the song is at, but variation isn't always a bad thing. I'll be looking to increase my skills in that area going forward.
I think you have very high production value which helps set the scene very well and makes this very enjoyable to listen to. The ambient nature to this track makes me think it would fit well in a video game level where you have to explore an area with landscape starting to be transformed by AI. Despite the dark undertones, I also feel a sense of calm and I feel relaxed while listening to it. I really like the high piano ostinato throughout. Great work and thank you for sharing!
It felt very repetitive to me. It could have done with a bigger change halfway through.
We can really feel the heaviness in your composition. The arrival of the kick with the side chain is extremely percussive.
Up to 1'58", you build up gradually, adding instruments. It gives the impression of an inexorable and powerful advance of the machine.
It's a shame that the intensity drops off after that. From 2'00" onwards, you could have either cut the drums and/or bass, or come up with something new melodically or harmonically.
Nevertheless, your music remains a great composition that illustrates the theme perfectly.
Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. I see what you mean about it dropping off intensity after the 2 minute mark. I took another listen with that in mind. I'm not gonna change it as I personally like it, but I see where you're coming from.
