Methodology
Using Reaper and I felt like I wanted a more 'cinematic' kind of song. I wanted it to be where it starts off with acoustic instruments but the electronics start building up hence The Singularity

I didn't have a lot of time to work on it so it isn't mixed as well as I'd like it to be and there's a part at the end that I didn't take out, oh well

Very nice blend of the acoustic/electronic elements. I personally liked the meloncholic/remorseful mood you’ve created with this tune. Nice work!

I hear plenty of electronic bleeps, and in the minor key, so the ‘AI taking over’ vibe is already there! 0:55-1:22 feels a bit much though, too much stuff going on at the same time making it feel a bit like a chaos at times. The theme is nice, though there’s little variation on the main chord progression. I like the ending at 2:03 - 2:15. I would have just ended it at 2:15 though, as the weird silence from 2:15 - 2:24 makes you think it has already ended. Overall, nice entry :D

Thank you for your constructive feedback! I didn't work on this song as much as I would have liked to but my mixing skills still aren't great so I'm not sure if I could have made it much better with time, lol. I can understand why it might sound chaotic in parts, another friend told me the same thing

I'm glad you liked the 2:03 - 2:15 part. I think it sounds cool, I'm just not sure if it's the right place for the song because I felt like that's where the song kind of deflates. I feel like this song can go in a lot of different directions so I think I'll be working on this track more and maybe more tracks like this

Anyway, thank you for your comment!

The piano adds so much to the song it is really great!

I like it! This was the type of song I could just drive around at night too. I also like that it executed the theme well by combining two different instrument types to create an engrossing soundscape. My negative aspect would be that it feels like it slowly deflates after the fantastic swell at the beginning. The last little section also feels unneeded (even if it proves a point). All in all, this is great through. The accompaniment is top notch, and I'm going to spin this the next time I drive at night.

You have done a great job creating quite a dystopian vibe with these synth lines, the soft echoey drums, and the low string pulses. Your music sets an atmosphere that feels like a Blade Runner-esque futuristic landscape in which AI now rules over humans which I think fits the theme really well. I like the ending parts in which you separate the acoustic instruments from the synths. Super strong choice ending on a second inverted chord to make it feel resolved, but at the same time not. Great work and thank you for sharing!

On the first part, your synth and melody reminded me of Chris Christodoulou (Risk of Rain). I don't know if you're familiar with it or if it's deliberate. There's a mood of despair that increases with the right build up when you build up to 1'25.

I was fooled by the silence. I thought the music was over, but it wasn't! You repeat the theme with only synths. It's really great.
