Methodology
Used Soundtrap.com and my plugged-in synth to create the tune and edit it. This is my first tune released in a jam, so I tried to focus a lot on atmosphere based on instrument selection and heartbeat rhythms.

This is very spooky in an etherical way! I can definitely see myself playing a game with this creepy soundtrack in the background. It reminds me of The Sims 2 on the DS!!
Yes! I wanted to have it feel retro but kind of timeless as well hoping it could work for multiple game types.
I love the atmosphere in this and the way that descending bassline kicks in is really intense!
Thank you! I really wanted to connect the bass with the intensity of a new heartbeat. Glad you felt the atmosphere.
I love the retro feel to it! It definitely sounds like something from Puppet Combo!!
Thank you! I’m going to have to check out this Puppet Combo. Getting back into the gaming world after a long time so have lots of catching up to do. Appreciate the review!
really spooky!! i love the heartbeat sound!! well done!!
Thank you! Yes, I was leaning into that heartbeat! 💓
Ah, I love this! The heartbeat running through is great, and the layers building up tension are brilliant. I’m really interested in how mechanical and metallic it sounded in parts, and I really hope someone runs with that aspect in a game. Fantastic!
Yes I wanted to express how yes, the monster is “human”, but is put together almost like a robot and also a manufactured doll.
Or I could see some futuristic Frankenstein’s monster using the metallics and such.
