Yes, I need to join the Discord, and I'll be sure to get permission from the server owner. Thank you for the suggestion!

Followed you on YT (my username is the same).

So far, I've only had one bot comment on Soundcloud that I deleted, so maybe I've been lucky (and only been on for literally one month so don't have a lot to go off of atm). I've started a Bandcamp account but haven't uploaded anything yet as I want to make some higher-quality cover art first.

Thanks for sharing your talents.

Followed!

Yes, that could be a lot of fun to stream the games! I'll definitely consider that.  I was thinking more of focusing solely on the music as I'm more comfortable with that, but...I've been wanting to add in gaming content as well, especially promoting indie devs and studios. ☺️

Thank you SO much for hosting this event. It's been a lot of fun.

Yes! I wanted to have it feel retro but kind of timeless as well hoping it could work for multiple game types.

Awesome! I’ll follow you regardless!

And my goal is to review with camaraderie in mind. Doesn’t seem like a lot of participation in this board so I may do a limited review of a few songs as an example of the tune jam. I know it’s all copyright free but I still feel like I need people’s blessing. 😋

Thank you for the blessing! If I end up doing the video, you’ll be tagged. 😎✌️

First off, WOWIES. I'm so impressed by all of you! The variety of tunes, the range of music genres, and the techniques used blew me away.

I learned basic piano at 6 years old from my church piano lady, fell in love with harmonizing in the church choir, played clarinet through school (my goal originally was to get into the New York Philharmonic), went to UGA for musical performance (dropped out...), and now coming back to the music realm after almost 20 years of PTSD from dropping out and not achieving my dream. So, to come here and put myself out there was a big feat, but I can now see that there is a cool community of peeps on here. Sooooo.....

I've got two questions for y'all:

1. Would y'all like to be featured in a future review video on YouTube? I am starting my channel and thought it'd be a great way to not only provide my channel with some more interactive/community-oriented content, but I could promote everyone's information and links as well.

2. Please share your profiles on YouTube, Twitch, etc.! I'd love to follow each and every one of you regardless of the video!

I have one other song on my itch.io profile, but I'm mainly going to be on YT. I may do a Twitch later down the road, but transitioning to that is going to take some time! Look forward to seeing your other content!

I love the singular note entrance and the slow yet rewarding instrumentation build up! Heck yes.

This song had the most swagger out of all of the songs. Very character-driven melody and riffs. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I went on a trip and felt those emotions you described. Awesome.

I'm so glad I downloaded it despite the quarantine status! I liked your instrumentation throughout this overture. Great job!

I feel like I am at a Halloween party in the alien spaceship, and maybe some aliens had too many drinks. Very cool! I was bopping the whole time.

Thank you! I really wanted to connect the bass with the intensity of a new heartbeat. Glad you felt the atmosphere.

Thank you! I’m going to have to check out this Puppet Combo. Getting back into the gaming world after a long time so have lots of catching up to do. Appreciate the review!

Yes I wanted to express how yes, the monster is “human”, but is put together almost like a robot and also a manufactured doll.

Or I could see some futuristic Frankenstein’s monster using the metallics and such.

Thank you! Yes, I was leaning into that heartbeat! 💓

Excellent! I felt the complicated emotions of the monster.

This melody is insane! I couldn't stop moving. Excellent!

Really cool, and I felt the undeadness of it!

This piece scared the ---- out of me in a good way. Nice!

I love how a good music box track can convey this kind of eerie innocence. Then, you added the haunting spookiness to it as well. Very cool!

Wow! I really liked how you used multiple time signatures to convey the literal composition of the Frankenstein's monster. Great job!

Incredible! One of the only ones I instantly listened to again  immediately after the first time.

Epic boney tune!

I really enjoyed this. Great mixing, and I could feel the feeling you described - mysterious, funny, not too fast, not too slow.

I was rocking out like a cool anime vamp the entire time. Great job!

I love your take on Frankenstein's monster! You expressed the noble part so well along with the mixed emotions of the monster. Awesome!

I now know what Arkham Horror LCG is, and yes, that is kind of atmosphere I wanted to evoke! As a Magic: The Gathering player, I could see myself playing Arkham Horror.

Really great work! Love the design , music, visuals, all!

That is so kind of you! Yeah, I am not sure what the issue is. Maybe the bundle deal doesn't have the right zip files?

Would you mind sharing the dark ghost files with me? That was the primary reason I was getting the bundle.

And thank you again! So sorry you're having issues. :(

Hello! I downloaded the Ghost Bundle pack, but I only received the free versions of everything. I didn't see anywhere where it said there were no paid versions available in the Ghost Bundle. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. I expected full access.

That sounds pretty cool! Excited to see how the concept plays out.

I like the inspiration! Interested to see what you make of it.

I love that you're tackling a past project! I feel like we all have good ideas we forget about that can always be revived when it feels right. Can't wait to play!

What is inspiring your game development right now? For me, it's spooky season! I was going for a rainbow-esque platformer but scrapped the idea after running across some great horror/scary sound effects that inspired me.

What about you?

Hey Beth! Justin here (and new game dev). Nice to meet you! I also tend to not initialize social situations, especially online, so cheers to you for stepping out of your comfort zone.

Your theme sounds pretty cool (pun intended).  I can't wait to try out whatever you end up deciding to do! :)

THANK YOU! I think I’m going to join your Discord channel. I need some queer dev friends! ☺️🌈

I'm a brand spanking new developer, but I'm ready to get my hands dirty and make my first game. I'm quite nervous,  but having this theme will make it fun! Nice to meet y'all!
