A little late but I uploaded a review video to youtube and your game is a part of it! Check it out here:

This game has an interesting concept, though it's pretty difficult. The lack of checkpoints and the instant-lose makes it frustrating, especially because it seems like the level is really long. Loved the Doctor sprite, though.

Having different versions of yourself is a really neat concept and a nice interpretation of the episode. I also liked the level design. The character sprite was nice too (and so was that effect when you join with your past self). Gameplay was a bit tricky / confusing, and the visuals could use a bit of polish. But overall, well done!

So that's was cool.

I instantly recognized the Doctor so I got it, which was nice.  However, that gameplay loop.  I couldn't find the portal.  And I died... So many times.  DOES IT EXIST.  I don't know! But I had fun!

Good job!

I really enjoyed the Doctor sprite!  The overall walk cycle worked well and you captured the character well.  Where was the Shift to run documented?  I played through the first game without knowing about it and it was painful to walk so slowly.  I'm not sure why that option is really in there.  Is there ever a need to walk vs run?

I really liked the procedurally generated maze.  Although I think that the overall experience would be better if you generated a much smaller maze, added some additional traps and upped the movement speed of the character.  Some additional environment work and tilesets would have made the experience feel a little more full.

On my last game it somehow generated a maze with only one branch in it  :)  It made the experience pretty easy since there was no need to backtrack and so avoiding the copies was trivial.  Maybe that was just a crazy generation though!

Overall keep up the good work!

Very cool concept, I certainly felt time lordy with all the various versions of myself running around. My finger kind of hurts from holding down the shift key to run, maybe if it could toggle that would be easier. Some sound effects would be a nice addition as well. I was determined to make it to the portal at the end and thought I might be going insane trying to find it, but I made it in the end!

Overall really good job on this!

I love the timey whimey game concept behind this, having so many versions of yourself wandering around at the same time! The instructions seem like they are given by the Doctor, do this, do this, and oh don't do that! haha! The music has ooo-wee-ooo feel to it, awesome! The art work is splendid too! Well done, geroonimoooo! :)
