I really like this! I think the concept of not being able to fight the enemies directly but instead having to craft items and place them in the world is great! Crownelius is a great name and a great way to give hints in world. The music was also nice! It was had a good beat but did not feel repetitive.
I think it would have helped a lot to be able to open just the inventory so you could still see the world around you as you tried to place the cross. Along with that I think the enemies give up the chase slightly too quickly and they stopped chasing me by the time I finally got the cross out XD But that did force me to be more risky and dive in and out while quickly trying to place it so it did make it interesting!
Lastly I definitely died many times because I did not realize how low my warmth meter was getting so some sort of feedback there would have been nice.
Interesting idea! I liked the crafting element of the game. I would have appreciated an arrow to my campfire or a minimap... I found that the only way I could explore was to move in straight lines!

Great job! :D
I actually thought the inventory screen was hooked up the same as the pause screen and stopped time.
Turns out it wasn't in the version i published aha.
Good concept for a game. I agree with Slick Games and an arrow to find your way to the closest campfire would be beneficial. Or maybe even a minimap.
Thats actually a feature I've added to the newest version today, nice arrow pointing to your last visited fire.
But also! I realized red crystals give potions instead of red crystals.
Red crystals and logs create fires -_-
