  • I typically loathe motion controls, but these worked really well!

  • Nice premise or backstory
  • Nice artworks, cover and card art. Was it intentional that the skulls aren't visivle anymore when opening the menu?
  • Nice use of the reflective mechanic
  • The accelormeter controls were hard, crank feels way better for this

Thanks for the comments:

  • Skull effect wasn't fully intentional but worked out alright
  • Yeah only used accelerometer as have never before so wanted a different part of the SDK and experiment (as I tend to in jams).  Plus the thought was you were holding and turning the playdate like it was the shield.  Would definitely need refinement, rethink or removal if I was to ever make a full version.

Fun idea and I love the theme. Even with crank controls, though, it's a tough game! A lot of times aiming for the obol would put my reflection right on charon and I'd lose a life.

yeah, originally the game was quite slow and easy so I upped the ante.  Be sure to turn the shield round (A or left) immediately after collecting an Obol to buy yourself some time to redirect the beam away from Charon
