I made everything in this jam except for the camera controller script (the character controller is mine, though).

Bug Fix Update 9-14: Fixed hard collisions with walls causing camera to jump, as well as several failing animation triggers, dialogue issues and money counter not showing up. Dialogue still has some issues, but that's a fix for another day. Cheers, all!
9-15: More bug fixes based on streaming videos. Huzzah!

Amazing work!! You did such a good job on your models and textures and I'm still humming the music xD Feels really fun to play! I love the humor and fits the theme really well!! Really impressive overall!
Thank you so much! :D
The best looking game in the jam
Thank you for the kind words :)
It is very beautiful, felt hard to control, I wish you could use your mouse to control the camera
Thanks for playing! And thanks for the feedback as well. :)
Artwork is beautiful. Scope was very ambitious for a jam!
Thank you! And thanks for playing! :)
Absolutely loved this, and I still can’t get over the beautiful 3D-work!
Thaaaank you! And thanks again for playing through it! <3
This was a very great game. I hope you win!
Thank you! And thanks for taking the time to play, I'm glad you enjoyed it! ^_^
I really love visuals and the idea of the story. But I can't get how to end the game (
Thank you for playing! If you have time to answer - what part did you get stuck at? I'd like to make it more player-friendly if there's an issue. :)
I've take all gold and broke the world by going back through the tunnel. Can walk around the city with no collisions and and nothing happened (
Thank you for letting me know! I'll see if I can figure out what went wrong with the code. Appreciated!
I love the character 3D models, this is a very funny game, the end of the story is pretty unexpected too, good job.
Thank you! :)
Cool game, but I'm stuck at the first guard which does not letting me pass. I can't jump so I can't collect some poaches of gold. This is great that you made all those graphics. You even made a character customization. That's impressive.
Hey, thank you for playing! There are a couple ramps in that area that the character can interact with, I may need to make that more apparent. Thanks for the feedback!
This game was great, awesome graphics for such a short time. Super charming overall, and character creation too? You managed to squeeze a lot into this jam. Fun and great twist at the end.
Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! ^_^
Eyyyyy, I remember seeing your posts on Twitter about this game! So glad I finally found it here c:
First of all, the models for the game are AMAZING. You've done such an incredible job with the level and the models and the lighting. I am even more impressed knowing that you did it by yourself in 2 weeks! Do you do 3d modelling professionally by any chance? Because all the models looked epic.
The whole game looks really polished. You should be proud!
And, excuse me, that unexpected twist??? I love it!! I had soooo many theories, and NONE of them were even close to what you did. Without going into too many spoilers, as soon as I saw the name (you know which name), I was like... wait, what? WAAAAAIT this can't be! Amazing job. I would give you 10/5 on the unexpectedness if I could. Let me just say EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY THIS GAME because it fits into the theme of the jam so well.
The controls are definitely unique and took some time getting used to, but they weren't terrible by any means. I was thinking of what could make the controls feel smoother, and one solution is maybe turning the camera into the direction you turn with A and D keys? If you are going to experiment with the movement, that one is definitely worth a try, cuz I just had the mouse button pressed for the entire game positioning the camera behind me. As a result, I got used to the movement a lot quicker. Another idea I had was walking into the direction the camera is facing when pressing W, and not the direction the character is facing. I don't know which one would be good (if any), but that's just some thoughts I had while playing the game!
REALLY well done. :33
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you liked it :D
And yep! 3D was my day job for a long time ha. I'm used to LDJams and only a few days of time, so when this one had 2 weeks I was like GOTTA TRY (•̀o•́)ง
Thanks for taking the time to play and leave such a lovely comment! I'm glad you dug the twist and appreciate the tip on the camera controls - I'll adjust them and see if I can get a better feel with the character. Cheers!
I am so sorry, but this game is really difficult to play. The controls feels super weird, and I am constantly fighting with the camera. The visuals, animations and the music is overall really good. The dialog is pretty fun, but I do do often not have much time to read it. Overall an interesting, but also a really buggy jam game.
Thanks for the feedback! The dialogue does have some glitching issues, I'm hoping to fix that today so players can take their time to read. :) The camera comment is appreciated, too, I'll try to make it feel a bit better. Thanks for playing!
