Cool game btw
while the visuals leave much to be desired, the great game play and concept make up for it, the game played well and while the character was kinda slow everything felt solid, overall great work!
Great-looking and sounding game. I feel like player movement is too slow, it takes ages to get from one rune to the next. Also, I felt that the game could need some more challenge (maybe some more platforming etc.). Otherwise a great entry.
I agree with the player movement, it feels very slow. I thought about making it faster but i think that would have trivialized most of the challenges but i think i could have come up with a way to make it work :)
Thanks for leaving a comment :)
A good little parkour game with a good environment. I see that you build many "other-worldly" structures to suit the game theme. The game had a clear goal, the objectives are very clear in where they are located, the player movement is working nicely, overall I enjoyed exploring the world you created. I think adding more audio feedback like footsteps, jumping sounds, can help make your world more immersive. Also, I am curious on why there is no lighting in the game, is it because of performance issues?
Yeah, i did the audio at the end and kinda forgot about footsteps and other sound effects :D What do you mean by no lighting? You mean some external lights besides the basic environment light?
Thanks a lot for your feedback :)
yea because in my playthrough, all of the objects didn't seem to cast any shadows.
Oh yea, thats correct :D I wanted to avoid some dark/shadowed walls since they looked really bad so i just created multiple sources of light from diffrent directions to eliminate those :D I guess this also messed up my shadows :P
I will look into a better solution for the next time :D
