umm like a week? this was made for a Gamejam so the development pace was really chaotic, and the result is obviously quite buggy😆 but I'm happy with it😊
I reckon I should revisit this project, maybe rework it to a game someday 😅

low key a hidden gem, very complete game, with great mechanics and well made fights, while the overheating is kinda annoying its important for the balance, the visuals are quite pleasing, and the controls are a bit slow, but control well, I especially like the sound design, the gun SFX is crunchy, the the Mech SFX are well thought out, I like the whizzing sound when you rotate, and how it pitches up depending on your speed, overall a very solid entry, well doen!

thank you! you are quite perceptive! its true, I planned for a stylized game at first but swapped out the robot for another one I found because the old one was more "humanoid" and was quite janky when animated (even tho the new one is janky too xD) thats why only the girl is stylized, I use the MToon shader, and models I made with Vroid, I totally recommend!

thank you! the secret is to keep the number of textures and assets low, and reuse as much stuff as possible, to keep library small and size minimal, Unreal still has better visual fidelity tho, but you're right! Unity advantage is in compactness! (but I think Godot is gonna steal that trophy soon 😆)
