Demn, really creative idea. It was a little bit difficult, and the game also bugged out when I died. But the gameplay elements were really smooth and responsive.

Damn I was so close to making it to the talk! Very fun game tho! Smooth controls, fun enemies that can launch you up in the air and propel you. I would say though that the sound could have been improved. I think a more noticeable sound for the damage sound effect (or a big visual indicator to go with it) would be nice and it would have been cool if the flame blocks had a unique sound effect to them. The sounds used are good though and the music is nice. Creative use of the theme too!
Thanks for playing and the suggestions! Because of my masterful procrastination skills I didn't end up adding sound until within the last 15 or so minutes, so sorry the sound design kind of sucks. I'll be sure to make it better if I update the game!

Pretty great, made me laugh when the frame rate took a nose dive, so many particles. the enemies are some of the most annoying ive ever seen, not really a bad thing, since we are burning down a forest and deserve some grief

i am too, so maybe you just havent updated in a while or youve turned off javascript or something.
idk. but its fine, also i have one of the new versions of google i think, and i have javascript installed but i don't think you can turn of and on javascript for browser but its okay.
Really like the flamethrower. I liked using it as a jetpack. Would have loved to see that boss fight.
