Tiny play time but the game is pretty cute! You did a great job integrating the platforms with the house's environment. Congrats on all the art work. It looks great!

What a vibe! Great job again John! Love the music, hyperpop-esque color palette, movement, etc.
For the map, I love the small holes at the bottoms of walls and how you can corner rats but I felt like everyone was too fast for the small-ish map. I also got the bug where the timer didn't show up until I was three minutes and thirty dead rats in. Still got to four stars!
You especially cooked with the AI for the rats. Incredibly fast, scattered and frantic. I love the little startle they get when you sneak up on them. A good way of balancing out how much faster they are.
Glad to hear you loved the gameplay! The cat is actually a CC0 asset I found! Here's the link: https://luizmelo.itch.io/pet-cat-pack
Bitsy my beloved. As a noob/starter game dev, making small games myself, I enjoyed the writing with the whole metaphor of starting small and getting through some major hurdles. Game design is intimidating but yeah, some daunting things can wind up being easy in the end. I would say that I wasn't a huge fan of the score. It felt too short and a bit annoying but I appreciate the commitment to the whole retro feel and I liked how it changed pitch throughout the game. Visuals are good too, especially the background in the ending. Reminds me of Gameboy/Blackberry colors.
Pretty creative use of the theme! Was pretty fun and for a short game, it had just the right amount of difficulty. I liked the visual indicator for the people with the Godot 2D glow. I would say how the infection worked could be explained and indicated better. When I stopped moving, I thought it was bugged and it was only during the third time that I realized that was intentional. Maybe having the virus blink white while infecting ppl might work. Loved the scientist enemy too! Pretty funny seeing them just throw beakers at you.
Ayyy someone went underground! I'm glad I stirred up some emotions within you for this game (even if it was because I accidentally made the game wayyyy to hard) and yeah, your ending critique makes sense. Understandable. Could've made some screen shake or something if I had an extra day. Thanks for playing!
Wow! Amazing use of the theme! Really creative twist on a space shooter game! I like how it actually felt like the game got progressively harder as I progressed. I would say I really only had fun with the asteroids and the ships as the mines very unpredictable. I would say if you plan on continuing development, I would say updating the space background would be a good idea (nitpick, I know). Very fun overall!
Pretty good amount of polish in the look of the game! From the blinking health bar to the explosion particle! I liked the art style too. I would say the gameplay is a bit numbing as the boss just moves around, firing constantly and you can only move a bit and shoot missiles or a faster gun. I liked the creative use of the theme with you being the big-bad boss, shooting the underdog ship. Nice main menu too!
Fun edutainment game! I liked how you implemented the math problem segment as a breather to the action as well as a way to get ammo. Smart! Art style is solid but I would say that the background doesn't fit in my opinion. I'm one to talk but I don't think the theme was implemented well. I also think a place to explain the controls, even just on the itch.io page would be key. Didn't know I could jump until Wave 6. The enemy variety was also cool, from the heat seeking projectiles to the jets. Congrats on the release!
Damn I was so close to making it to the talk! Very fun game tho! Smooth controls, fun enemies that can launch you up in the air and propel you. I would say though that the sound could have been improved. I think a more noticeable sound for the damage sound effect (or a big visual indicator to go with it) would be nice and it would have been cool if the flame blocks had a unique sound effect to them. The sounds used are good though and the music is nice. Creative use of the theme too!
