When the player attack the enemy their hat comes off the player this persaudes the player to attack the enemies instead of avoiding them

The game looks nice, but as you said, there are a lot of bugs. Some sound would have made it more fun!
I played through till the boss. The way to unglitch your jump is to make sure that the attack animation checks for a condition where you are not in a jump animation. That way it can't break the attack animation anymore. Great effort.
I tried playing it, I could collect 3 helmets from the guys I killed but the big boss blasted me off map every time, not sure if it was intended :D
Anyway, if you are new, keep at it, you will get there :)
