This was a nice game visiting some countries, although I wasn't able to finish everything it was relaxing but also quite hard. But I enjoyed it none the less.

My only remarks I could give, apart from adding some relaxing soundtrack, is that there were some tears in the map, or so it seemed, I guess it wasn't 1 consitent map or some pixel perfect problem, but due to time limit and it didn't bother that much it was a good experience :D

good job :D

Thanks, glad you liekd it :D

I really need to watch some Pikmin gameplay hehe, or buy it when it finally releases on Switch, never played or watched it being played, I know it exists and has some good reviews :D

Thanks, glad you liked it.

They were fairly easy to create, I made a Unity cube which I stretched with 2Y, then I used 3 materials (which is bad for optimisation or so Unity tells me), 1 standard Unity color, another material I used a transparant PNG with a handdrawn square on the sides which apparently when applied to a basic cube gives it this edge effect, and another material which was also a transparant PNG with some handdrawn random lines to create this grungey effect and that's it, never done graphics before but I guess it turned out ok, the eyes are these circles which come with Unity, that I have turned to make them look happy or sad.
So yeah, most graphics are just standard Unity cubes with those 3 materials.

Hey, first of the art was very good, gameplay worked, didn't encounter any bugs (Except the end screen, as you know), not sure if it was intentional to hear 2 jump sounds when you hold jump.

Theme was put to good use, good job :D

thanks :D and yeah I wanted to make a timer on that one but didn't put in the effort, it goes away once you take one item back to storage but other have pointed this out as well, glad you liked it :D

Hey, I liked the idea and would like to see more :D

as it stands now, as others have mentioned, more feedback could be welcome when you complete or fail something, also some info if you already merged creature x with y would be a helpful.

Graphics and creatures were really good :D

Hey thanks for playing and the feedback :D I was indeed thinking about expanding on this and I wanted to implement some kind of patapon mechanism but with the time limit wasn't possible, but I'm brainstorming about all kinds of things I want to add now the jam is over :D

will check out your game too

This was awesome! really cool intro, graphics, sound and music, gameplay and the theme was really well done!

I got nothing but positive words for this

I tried playing it a few times but it is indeed to hard for me :D but that's ok.

Interesting idea and good use of the theme, although technicly some bugs arise like the character dissapearing when you switch characters or it wasn't all that clear how the system worked (could be me).

Anyway, nice job :D

I really liked this one, very original idea that fit the theme! fun variation of enemies and a clear goal.

a few notes: apart from some graphics that can be improved and sound ofcourse, I found it hard to spot at first if a bee was dead, eventually I noticed but at first I always thought it was dead but I guess he stung me and than it died, maybe death of these creatures could have been made more clear but overall it was very fun and original :D

Good job :)

Thanks for playing, and yeah we survived :D glad you liked it :)

Haha I had the same with creating music, just trying to create a melody with a piano or something else, it didn't work at all lol

Made a highscore of 760, I liked it overall, the music and sound effects, the visuals.

A few notes I have: The ship was somewhat to much out of my control, it swayed a bit to much making it feel like you were losing control of your ship, I did like that the coints and collectables were drawn to you that you didn't needed precise steering. So it didn't matter that much.
Also the mountains were at some edges to hard, it woud have been nicer if they were smoother, but overall it was very well done, good job!

This is definitly in my top 5 so far :D really well polished, fit the theme, a lot of enemies, and a lot of different random rooms and a cool boss fight, really well done.

The only things I would improve upon are maybe the soundtrack, and a more distinct main character, but those are minor things if you look at all the stuff you got there, really well done!

thanks for playing, glad you liked it :D

We both have that in common than :D glad you liked it and had some feel with it, thanks :D

thanks a lot for playing :D will check it out

Thank you very much, really happy you liked it  :D

This was really good and I was able to finish it :D there were some puzzels I had to redo several times so it's good balanced, art is simple but good, sound is relaxing and effects are good.

This could be made in a full game if you want to, thanks for this

The idea was really fun and it works, really nice job on that one, it also fit the theme.

A few notes to improve upon: the tutorial was way to quick, consider letting the user decide when he wants to read further.
The music was not the highlight, but that's okay :D
The font used, was a bit blurry, if you used UI Text, consider using TextmeshPro, it's part of unity and crystal clear text :D

Good job on the game :)

very good and well polished, all around, good job, I enjoyed it :D

Really cool you even got time to rebind the keys and options and all, well done

You love to hate this game, eventually :D

I always enjoyed these games, and it works as intended, although the ship somethimes turns on its on, except for that I didn't notice any other weird things.

Graphics can be improved a bit, with a little background and some music but that's a minor point and didn't matter that much for this game.

Overall a good (frustrating, by design) fun game and fit the theme well, good job :D

thanks for playing :D

thanks for playing and your kind words, will surely check out your game!

thanks for this :D yeah it was a though week hehe but I got to work something out :D and yeah some sounds can be a bit much, especially after a while :P

thanks for your time playing, glad you enjoyed it :D

woah thanks, really nice you enjoyed it this much :D there was background music though, but very subtle and yeah GO is a pretty boring name haha but it kind of fit the theme I went for: GO there collect back repeat, and the GO logo as an "8" to infinity, which also fits with the 8bits to infinity organisers :D

And yeah, I might make my original idea: collect resources in a city, before the enemy comes, gain enough cubees in time and move to the next city, and after a while you have a big enough army to take back everything what is yours, but that idea didn't make it in 7 days :D

hey, thanks for playing :D

Thanks for playing, funny that people talk about the aestetics and sound, 2 things I've never done before haha :D

Will look into your game too ofcourse :) was already planning on doing that anyway, since I'm rating the top karma and you were one of them, good job :D

Thanks :D

Yeah I should have put a timer on that, but instead I made it so that it goes away once you store 1 item in the new area which might be bad because some people think it's over.

Yeah in a browser for some reason it doesn't respond as intended, on Windows it works better, thanks for the feedback! Will surely check out your game too

It was pretty hard, I couldn't get past level 5, was fun, but difficult :D

Good mechanics and controls, nice collisions making some tough challenges in tight corners or hand to hand fights.

Well done :)

Graphics were good, though the grid or background could use something extra, but the rest was very good, I liked the gameplay although I would have liked a harder mode or booster pickups with more speed, it was fun lining it up but hard sometimes hehe :D

Good job on the game overall and also loved to soundtrack!

Hey, it fitted the theme and was an okay experience, but a few points as other have pointed out, the music wasn't that good but I understand if it's something new you had to do, been there :D also after 20 deers it lagged, but it seems you found the problem. Other than that, it was a pretty basic game which can be improved upon next time add some challenges, maybe some time limits, enemies, highscore.

well done, keep up the good work and you will get an even better game next time :D

(1 edit)

This was good, very polished, I even finished it after like 8 levels or so, some were very simple, with statues next to the door :D

I liked the different statues and the 3th level was the hardest with to many stairs to climb and that bird that attacks you.

overall a good game :D thanks, and keep up that karma or I will beat you to it :P hehe

edit: One thing I didn't like was installing it on a drive, I prefer just some zip where I can run it and collect all jam games, but it works, I just need to remember to uninstall it :D

This was a very original implementation of the theme, well done :D

Liked the art, the sound, the music, the game itself works for this jam and was quite relaxing with the music, good job :D

This was very well made, pretty, difficult, good use of theme and fun!

I only made a score of 535, couldn't get past the 500, controls were good but very hard and need some practicing, will try again later :D

very high quality graphics and polish, and very fun experience, although I did encounter some problems but that might have to do with browser maybe, at first it worked great but then I couldn't type or my towers weren't shooting, not sure what happened, except for that, when it worked it was really cool and unique concept!

Interesting topic!

I found this a very fun turn based rpg:

Thanks for checking it out :D I will play your game again because I enjoyed it so much.
