Cute game! Got a score of 30.

I liked the way the hourglasses make the pathfinding more interesting as you have to quickly come up with an efficient path to pick up both collectibles, though the time you get from the hourglasses isn't enough to keep playing forever even with efficient pathing.

Fun to play for a while but i think i would like if there was one more thing going on to distract me and really test my memory of the traps and I think it would be cool if the objective had some mechanic to it besides just being needed to beat the level.

Thanks. Yes that was the intention for the hourglasses. For a too long time you could use always the same path. So I needed something to "distract" the player. I first thought of an enemy - but nothing which came through my mind would have fit to the game. Therefor I thought about going for rewards (in case of time).

Maybe a second hourglass would've been also a good idea. That could've solved the issue with "running out of time too early" and the player would've to stay longer within the "maze".

I like using 3d to present the playing field. Hourglasses should give you more time. I like the importance of memory in order to win.

Thank you :-). I'm not good at 2d. Therefor my games have to be 3d ^^.

And you're totally right with the hourglasses. I did a stupid miss calculation regarding the bonus-time. It was based on "player moves straigth". That will be definitively a "lesson learned" for me!

It is a good memorization game!!

Its one of my favorite types.

The hourglass could give more time, because now at some time, even if the player complete  the levels at the ideal speed, they will not be able to go very far in the levels.

Happy to hear that you like it :-).

And yes you're totally right. I should have increased the bonus-time. My calculation was done for forward and back + a little extra time. But if you've to do one turn you loose time. I wanted the player to loose time during the game but this is too much because it is nearly not possible to build up time.

My goal was to make it hard to reach the (afair) 6th level. Because from then on I don't add any rows anymore. I think I've simple overshot.

A simple game but actually quite fun to play. I spent several lives trying to see if I could be cheeky and slip diagonally between two trapped cells to get better times but was not able to (unsure if possible or not but had to try :D).

Had me playing a couple of times just to beat myself.

Developer(+1)

:-) cool that you tried to beat yourself. If I'd more time I probabbly would've build in an highscore system. And yes it is possible to slip diagonally between 2 traps. But you have to catch really the corners of them ;-)
