Beginning with praise:
-Random layouts are hard, so good job doing that.
-The movement isn't too slow, and feels alright to control.
-The enemies target you properly, so good job there.
-With the collectable gems, it certainly fits the theme.

Aaand the things to fix/improve:
-When you restart from death the music starts, but the music from the last round doesn't stop playing. So it just loops on top of each other.
-The enemies are a bit too much, some rooms had like 5-6 enemies and you'd usually take damage before you got a chance to react.
-The randomized rooms managed to put me on top of a raised block when I moved from one room to the next. So I couldn't move, and got stuck there.

This is a good jame game you were able to put together. I just feel like it needs a little more in every direction. The music is nice, but there are no sound effects, which would add so much. It's amazing that you build random generation for a jam, but there's plenty of levels that are unbeatable or frustrating. The movement is plain and could use more refinement to add character. I know this is a lot for a jam so I think maybe it would be better to add less features but make them fully fleshed.

Fun and quick to play, I like it. The cave collapsing is also an interesting mechanic. What killed me the most was entering a room and getting shot immediately. Overall though, great job!

Hope you'll check out my game too!

Loved the procedurally generated elements. There should be a quick pause when you change room so you have time to interact when enemies attack, also what Woolamander said but of course for a jam submission very impressive! You also took your time to find all that art, and combining it also needs artistry and you nailed that!

Hey, thanks for playing the game and the feedboack. I think the pause idea is a great one. Will surely implement it. :)

Hey! Super impressive making a randomly generated rogue-like for the jam. Good controls and feels even better when you find the wand. I had one issue on a run where I got pretty far and when moving to the next room I spawned on one of the elevated tilesets and could no longer move. Might need more rules for what can generate where.  Well done!

Thanks so much for your kind comments! Yes, I realize it had many bugs and enhancements. I'm already working on them. I will also play and rate your game as soon as I'm on my PC!

This is a really challenging games, im not very good at dodging projectiles. First of all it took me a long time to find a wand cause i died so much and when I finally found it, died in the same room and the game crashed. I'll put the error below. Also the enemies sometimes shoot before i've even gone through the door resulting in me losing health before i even see whats going on and i feel like its a little unfair.

Other than that, it was a really enjoyable experience! Thank you for this!
