This is technicaly over the top for me. Dunno how the hack you managed to build a game which runs on a server and sadly i was only able to play solo, but the concept, art and TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION?! is nuts. The only issue particularly in a game jam is that this game can`t be played solo what so ever. But other than that: love my own money and giving him a name. keep it up :)
Could not play it since no one was playing it. But it looks cool and very polished. Congrats on the jam!
Leaving my review :)
I didnt get any customers so im not sure how the game is supposed to be played? I also ran out of time and nothing happened, i understand the concept though, and way to include the vimlark monkey haha.
Give mine a shot https://itch.io/jam/vimjam2/rate/1200495
Its multiplayer so you cant really play alone, didn’t have time to make bots… and other things :)
Played this as part of Josh's stream, and it was fun! I think that adding a score or something to the game would incentivise the player to do better/work harder... also, maybe some more meal options other than just pizza? You could maybe earn money while working and then spend that money whilst being a customer? Lots of potential...
Thanks! There’s always a lot of potential, but only so much time I guess ¯\(ツ)/¯
