Thank you! So happy to hear that

Hey, cool game!

Congrats on the awesome submission, I loved the overall atmosphere.

Just though that it could be a little easier in the beginning :)

Once again, thank you so much for your thorough feedback!

We'll act on the reported bugs and balancing! Also, we were trying to find a way to better fine-tune the quicktime event feature, thank you for reporting your pov about it!

Thank you for playing and taking the time to leave feedback!

we had some ideas to hide the mouse cursor, but I really liked yours. I'll be playing yours next!

Hey, cool entry! It has been really nice to see the variety of genres in this jam, I'm glad your game was submitted!

I enjoyed the plot, and one constructive feedback I can give you is that I had trouble reading some of the text because of the font color. I had to keep selecting the text haha.

Congratulations on the submission!

You actually did it! A metroidvania in a game jam! Hahaha

Congratulations on such a cool entry! I loved the stop motion aesthetic of the game, and loved how when you get close to the enemies, you can see more facial and body features because of the light from yout sword.

I came back here to check on your game, and it plays much nicely than the last submission, congratulations on such a polished entry!

One of my favourites so far, thank you :)

Amazing! I felt so good once I got the hang of it!

Starting the game from the menu, I had absolutely no idea how to play it, but after refreshing the page and going through the tutorial, it was very clear.

One suggestion I could give would be to make a mini-tutorial on the game start(?)

Congratulations on such an interesting entry :)

Congrats on the entry :)
I really liked the overall idea of the game, and I think it has great potential!

One constructive feedback I could give is that it took me a great while to get the hang of the game. For a while, I didn't even figure out that the map was scrollable.
This could be solved maybe by making the start easier? Or gravity weaker?

Nevertheless, really liked the game, great job!

One of my favourite entries so far, congratulations!!

I absolutely loved the overall vibe the game carries. I would definitely pay for this experience!

What a beautiful entry, congratulations!

I loved the spells vfx and enemy impacts.

One constructive feedback I can give is that I felt no impact of leveling up, I don't know if it made some impact or not.

Oh no, not the trolley problem!

Hahaha, but really, I've loved the core idea of the game, it has such a tense buildup.
Also, loved the scenery, with the 2d pixelated cabin and the 3d world outside, great job!

One constructive feedback I could give would be to have a smoother learning curve, I had a lot of trouble getting the hang of it. Maybe the first level should be way easier?

Nevertheless, congratulation on such a cool and original submission!

Hey, you have a cool project here! I liked the idea of a star wars themed puzzle, in which you must use the force.

I'm sure with some juiciness and refining your project has a nice potential!

Loved the core mechanics of too bouncy is dangerous hahah

Congratulations on the cool entry, your game is very charming and fun!

For me it was a bit challenging to predict when I would become too bouncing, but nevertheless, really enjoyed it :)

Hey, cool entry :). I loved the personality of the NPCs and the music.

One constructive feedback I could give is that I found the parkour gameplay quite bouncy, I struggled a little bit to move forward on that point.

Congrats on the submission!

Amazing!

Because of bad luck, I guess, I didn't get the chance to play this game in previous submissions, I will definitely check out how this game evolved.

Congratulations on the great submission! This is only the second game I am reviewing yet, but I have a strong feeling it will be one of my favorites!

On constructive feedback I could give is about the responsiveness of the jump, I found myself a lot of times falling from an edge I intended to jump from.

I am absolutely loving how this game is turning out!

I think it was easier with the colored numbers hahaha, but is it so much smoother and nice.

Can't wait to see the final version, congrats!

I still found it a bit confusing on how to play, but I really like the vibe!

I still find the hotkeys really hard to grasp, but other than that, I absolutely love this entry!

Really looking forward for the final version!

It is coming together really nicely, congrats!

I enjoyed the overall aesthetic of the game, and loved the flying LX blocking the ways.

One constructive feedback I may suggest is that the enemies' menu are a little frustrating to click while both the character and enemy is moving. Maybe some hotkeys would fix this issue?

It took me a while to grasp the mechanics, but once I did, I really enjoyed the game! Congratulation on such a cool entry.

I really liked how each enemy has a different pattern which you must learn.

I'll definetly be looking forward for the final version!

Cool entry! I love the 1bit aesthetics of it, and it seems so polished!

I loved the phase screen that makes you choose where to go first, reminded me of Darkest Dungeon.

Also, I loved how the game gives rewards even if you lose the phase, neat way to balance difficulty and it made me not give up on the levels.

One little improvement I could suggest is that the bullet has the exact same speed as the player, so if you shoot while moving forward, it seems the bullet is stuck to the ship. This also causes the possibility of multiple shots overlapping each other.

Thank you so much for such extensive feedback!

We are working on the topics that bothered you and we think you are gonna like the final version ;)

Thank you for playing and leaving feedback :)

We are improving the quick time, and we will take your feedback regarding the camera to make it more pleasant!

Thank you for the feedback!
We are working to improve the quick time feature, it is indeed getting in the way of the gameplay.

Thanks for the feedback!
We are working on the building vanish interaction

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed :)

Hey, thanks for playing and taking the time to leave feedback!

A visual indicator of dash cooldown is a very good idea, we`ll put it in our goals

The shooting is so satisfying!

I am excited to see how this project will developed, congrats for a nice entry :)

The camera shake on explosions is a little too extreme, maybe shorter duration or offset?

Hey, really interesting mechanic, loved the originality, and I am eager to see where this one goes!

One thing I tell you is that I found the controllers a little but confusing because of the diagonal directions.

I would love to figure out the code of this project, if you ever put it in a public repository, let me know :)

I can tell you one thing, I loved the feel of weight :)
I could picture a cool one screen game, like Towerfall

Nice one :)
I am also making (sort of) a bullet hell game, looking forward to see how your game will turn out!

I got excited by the chapter feel that I got from the minigame, then from the cutscene, then from the walk around.

Looking forward to see how this will turn out :)

Loved the chill vibe, and the idea of a non-win-lose game!

Amazing! I was not expecting a game in this state in the prototype phase, congrats!
Loved the art style and the animations, the overall vibe is fantastic :)

One thing that bothered me were the controls, I kept having to come back for the instructions to remember which button did what. But I guess this will be sorted in the future with proper player onboarding.

I absolutely loved the 2.5D effect, very original of you :)
Part of my brain started feeling strange towards that, though, something about perspective didn't seem right. Maybe the rate in which the back sprite moved should be much lower than the rate in which you move? Don't know, just throwing ideas here.

Really looking forward for playing it in the future!

Thank you for taking the time to play and leave feedback, we'll give some love to the environment vanishing feature soon enough :)

(1 edit)

Thank you so much for the feedback :)

We have a task to improve the vanishing behaviour in the backlog, I'm glad someone from outside spotted the importance of this too!

Hey, thanks for leaving the feedback!

Yeah, we will test both ways, but I think we'll end up switch to hold :)

same here. Seems like the pdf is outdated
