How does your game apply the limitation (and optionally, the theme)?
Contains a literal raid Boss; the theme might me far fetched, but in the game, you are "on the edge" of touching/dying in lava.

It is a large but clear project for the subject, it would have been improved a lot if you controlled 1 and the rest you only reposition them but they move by themselves when they attack

I actually really like the concept behind this! The problem is the execution is, let's say, lacking.

This needs a bout fifteen metric tons of polish and graphical improvements. Also I did not hear any type of sounds or music. The idea is definitely worth checking out in the future, but you might wanna take more time to properly implement it.

I have yet to play the actual game, but I took a look at some of the art (specifically the skill icons) and recognized it from another game - it’s probably creative commons (said art was/is being used as beta art in said game) but it still needs to be credited for the jam.

If you’re wondering the game in question was “Storybook Brawl”

Edit: played the game with full party of healers. Got squashed. I don’t think I’ll be playing much of this game given my lack of experience with RTS games, so sadly I can’t give any critique for the game itself (or, uh, vote)

Developer

Hello! Thank you for trying the game out. The art pack comes from humble bundle and has no restrictions on it, nor does it have an author specified. We did not mean to break the rules and if we did, please let us know how to fix this issue for possible future misunderstandings. Thank you again.

The jam’s rules on credit are as follows: A. You have to credit all work (including CC0 assets, and even your own assets), and B. It must be accessible at the start of the game. I’m not a jam official, but you could try putting credits on the game page, maybe that counts? Regardless, my advice for the future would be to take a careful look at the rules before starting the jam (or really anything) since each jam is likely to have somewhat different rules from the last.

Also if you want to look for yourself I’ll provide a handy link to the rules: https://itch.io/jam/vimjam2/topic/1570354/official-jam-rules

It was really hard with the lava coming up and cycling between the different heroes.
