Gorgeous graphics, really polished art.
I had to quit before then end cause I was kind of lost. After fighting the Boss once, I went to the right to a new bonfire, but then it would just wrap around and I would fight the same Boss but then it would run left and right and it kind felt like it was buggued, maybe I didn't understand something. The walking sound became annoying really quickly, maybe add some variation in pitch and make it a lot quieter.
Really good looking game.
Thanks for playing! Once you wrap around back to the room with the hole that the boss is in your supposed to go to the left. I was going to cover up the hole but time got the best of me.
wow!!! the atmosphere! the art! the sound! this game was a treat for the senses for sure! it was so beautiful just to look at and listen to, and it was great to find that the boss fights were really cool too.
i found some of the boss attacks a little tough to react to, and got through it eventually, but would have appreciated a just a littttle more time to attack to most of the attacks.
loved being a sword. boss character design was so good!
oh one note: in the non-boss parts, i consistently failed to notice the spikes and just kept walking into them. i think a thicker red outline and maybe making them a bright colored spike to really pop from the background could have helped with that issue.
great game!
Thanks for playing! The boss attacks were inspired off of Hollow Knight so that was what I was going for, difficulty wise. Thanks for the feedback!
This was really fun.
Polished, cute game.
Great sound effects and fun concept!
The second time you bet the guy was by far the hardest one.
Really good looking game aswell!
Thanks for playing!
Cool, polished graphics and nice effects in the game; Only i start feeling bad while for the waving screen effect after 5 minutes: At least it should be stopped while have a battles.
I like the walking sword idea, and I wish i would be some other weapon as well, like an battleaxe or the spear (even a shooting bow). I were missing the power attack to deal higher amount of damage to the boss, while it keeps just rolling on and i'd like to deal to it the "big damages".
I though I would be able to break by sword some of objects in the game, like crates and shelves, for finding something new or/and just for fun; finding even good or bad staff appearing from the boxes. Also the feature in the background story would be great, where player could evolve from just the sword into some kind of ghost warrior with exp. or finding or buying stuff. The spirit would be using the same weapons, but with hands, and the jumping weapon for your level 1 spirit and the visible ghost is a creature level 10.
So here are my toughs but also there should be one rule to be accorded on boss/or even on some normal fights: The how many bullets or how complex is the attack maneuver from enemy, the more player should have time to react to it at the moment: so if there is 3 bullets instead of one bullet, player should have 2 or 3 more time to react it, while this rule shall keep the balance in the game mechanics of on fights.
Thanks for the feedback! The camera issue was something I couldn't resolve before the deadline.
Hey!!! Jammers, get in here and give this game some more plays and ratings
This was a really well polished experience. I love the animations and sound design. The taking damage noise was oddly too pleasing. I'm supposed to be hurt, but I kind of enjoyed the dingg every time. I would dial down the running noise a little though, since it's happening constantly.
I may have also found an error. After defeating the hag the first time, I fell back down and it appeared to trigger the fight again, but she wouldn't take any damage at all. The boss fights were good. Nice variety in attacks with clear telegraphs so I could react appropriately.
Overall, great experience and I'm glad I downloaded and tried it out.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it! I was going to close the boss entrance up after you defeat her for the first time, but completely and utterly forgot. Thanks for the tip on the footsteps. I'll change that for the next build!
