Your assets and animations and just everything here was stunning. I particularly loved the creative gun. My main note is that I must've missed initial instructions because I wasn't sure what to do once I got to the shooting part. Perhaps having basic goal available via a menu or cleverly displayed on a HUD would be cool!

Also, really loved the teleport mechanic.

If you have a second to hop by 1-minute game this weekend, I'd love your critique and rating!

Great teleportation mechanic! Really unique and fun to use <3

If you find some time this weekend, please check out our game “Starship Minis” and leave a comment to let us know what you think! https://itch.io/jam/vr-jam-2021/rate/1145490

Thanks and congrats on completing the jam!!

Really enjoyed the intro! It would've been cool to have a more floaty space movement. What's strange about the teleport ball is that in the first scene it's on the right shoulder, and then on the left in the second scene.

Hi there, thanks for playing and pointing out that bug! I don't think any of us realized that as we switched the ball to the right shoulder last second.. We're planning to add another update after judgment to straighten up all the bugs and issues people have, again thanks for playing!

The graphics are amazing, maybe for optimisation you choose to display only asteroids around, but it's strange when it spawn really close to me.

For the use of theme, I kinda feel in a huuuge space with a small world. I don't have the feeling to go forward at all.. Neither to control my player with just move up and move around.

I got my sword, bring the planet to the weird red one, till the end of the line, but there was nothing. Kinda lost, It took so much time without the teleport ball :/

Edit : I saw the objectif is the sun, I tried but it takes too much time :/

FYI, It doesn't launch on my index, I had to use Revive or my quest linked

Yeah its oculus only on windows, sorry. BTW did the teleport ball not work or something?

The teleport ball did work well during the first part, where I have to take the earth, however I don't have the ball in the 2nd part

Developer(+1)

Yea as someone else mentioned we actually ended up forgetting to put the ball on the right shoulder for the second scene. So instead of it being on the right shoulder it ended being on the left. Sorry for the confusion! ~Nic (Programmer)

What am I supposed to do once I get to the planet and have my laser gun sword and stand on the blue platform? I see asteroids but I can't kill them, and the teleport ball no longer works. Though firing my jets resets me.

Developer

It says in the instructions, you try to take the earth to the sun without losing it or having it be destroyed by enemies. Maybe it should have been clearer, sorry.

No worries! I played it again knowing that and I get it the point of the laser sword, wish I could destroy the asteroids with it. I will say that walkway is looooong, and I don't know if I made it to the end or if my planet got destroyed without me knowing it, but it just reset me. Is there a win condition? The laser gun sword is a really nice model and the intro is top notch!

I had pretty much the same experience.

Developer

Yeah that would have been cool to destroy the asteroids, I wish I'd thought of that. There is a win condition, if you reach the sun.
