I love the presentation and environment. Being in space and loading up torpedoes is a great idea! I did find the control panel to be a bit clunky. I'd end up running up onto the platform where the buttons are because of the small slope in front of the panel. I thought aiming for different sections of the enemy ship was also a great idea. Overall, solid entry that just needs a few mechanics hammered out!

Developer

Thank you! Really appreciate it!
yeah, that slope on the panel was an issue I noticed in development. But adding a cube collider instead meant that sometimes the player collider will get pushed back as you lean over it. I was thinking of changing the character controller step-up value but I wasn't sure if that may cause other issues and was short on time when I noticed that issue myself so didn't want to risk any further problems.
Now I think I should have put the buttons on the slope itself at an angle.

Great job! Sorry I had to edit my post, I posted the wrong text from the wordpad review page im writing in. I liked it, it was simple, though I couldn't get the rocket to launch, im a little slow and trying to knock out as many games of the jam as I can.

Developer

Thank you for playing and commenting! Also going through as many as I can now. Just played yours haha.

To get the rocket to launch you have to destroy all of the enemy weapons first so they cannot shoot it down then the rocket sign will light up and you press the big button to fire it. There is nothing to do after this point though other than wait and watch.

Great atmosphere and tension. I wasn't sure what buttons to press at the start, you're kinda thrown in at the deep end, but I managed to get a rocket going in the end.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah that is very true. With some polish I would find a way to make it clearer what to do and label buttons somehow.

Great job at creating a sense of urgency, I was panicking from the start haha. Couldn't quite work out the buttons or what to press when but I managed to load the cannon and get a rocket out so I must have done something right! Great job

Developer

Thanks! If I polish this game up I would label the buttons or something to be clearer what to do.
