Unfortunatly I am unable to participate the first 2 days of the jam. My question is: Is it going to be consider cheating if I start 2 days earlier knowing that my progress may not be in harmony with the jam theme because I won't know it or am I not allowed? I know it is written in the FAQ in ''How can you tell if I used premade assets or made the game at an earlier stage?'' that we can bend the rules but I want it to be fair so I would like to know if it is going to be considered cheating.

We allow templates, so having some stuff put together beforehand is acceptable.

Since you're going through the trouble of asking, I trust that whatever you have will be fair. :)
