would i be allowed to make other build versions of my game and have my game still be counted for in the rating?

I don't see how that would be fair? Bug testing and getting the game running is all part of the process. It's all good though, learning is what Jam's are about thats why most jams dont offer prizes. The prize is the process and the skills you learn to do better next time around. Don't sweat it.

You can upload new versions as long as your original version is available! That way people who judge can still play the OG upload
