I always envy those who can make a platformer puzzle game, and this one works great. I love the different mechanics here and how they work together with some smooth platforming. Great work!
Nice animations and very "Colorful" lol.
You've taken the colour combination concept and added some unique twists to it. The art style is great and it feels really polished. Some of the combinations of colours didn't quite make sense to me, and the platforming felt a bit heavy too me, but it's a very solid entry overall!
Thank you for playing! The color combination is a bit tricky because is not with primary colors, so on low saturated colors it can bring weird results haha the combinations are actually real combinations, but maybe I'll use more of the primary colors and further updates, thanks for the feedback!
Really fun and well polished! Love the animations and art in general. The dash was a little inconsistent for me, sometimes just wouldn't work when I pressed it, but besides that, excellent job!
Thanks for playing! Glad you like it. Were you trying to dash in the air? Is only possible to dash once while in the air, the dash resets once you hit the ground. I intended in creating visual feedback for this, but I ran out of time haha I'll implement this once the jam is over
Hm I was trying to dash in the air, but for the first time as I did assume it was a one time thing. Sometimes it just didn’t seem to register, but I could have definitely just been doing something wrong. If nobody else has mentioned it I would just assume that XD
haha well, I'll take a look at that, just to be sure. Thanks for the feedback!
Fab artwork, everything blended super well. I loved all the effects you did for the restart, screen transitions, the dash, just beautiful. The player also felt nice and squishy. Love the gameplay, I did get stuck at level 7 too but thanks to your comment I got past it. Amazing job.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I'm really glad that someone actually beat level 7 haha
Cool and fun game, a good use of the theme for sure!
Thank you!
Aside from the issue in level 7, I can't find that stuck out. All the visuals looked great, ranging from UI to entities. The music and sound fit the aesthetic of the game. Great job on this game!
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoy it! Yeah, I just notice this issue after submissions closed, you can get a blue color that is very similar to the goal color, but is in a slightly different shade. But there is a right color, is actually possible to beat this level haha
I couldn't pass the blue color portal.
Do you mean the portal in level 7? Sorry about that, this level was made at the last minute so I couldn't test it properly, there are two blue colors you can get in this level and the two are very similar, but only one is in the exactly correct shade of blue. I'll remove the wrong one after the jam ends, but thanks for playing, hope you had fun!
so fun game
Thank you!
Good idea and mechanics, nice UI and music. Was a pleasure to play it!
Glad you like it! Thank you
very beautiful game! love the way it felt, the waterfall and the cleaning mechanics were a very fun plus! I got stuck on level 7 I tried a lot of combinations and I couldn't get the right color, I feel bad as a artist loosing haha jk, great entry! :D
Thanks for playing! Glad you like it and don't feel bad, level 7 was created 20 minutes before the jam ends, it wasn't so much planned, so is my bad haha
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! And yeah when matched the colors it was too precise, I implemented a threshold to have a margin of error, but I think I still have to increase it a little bit
