Lovely game, but one of the issues with point-and-click style games is sometimes it is a hunt for pixels to find the items. I'm glad you had the labels appear over the items I could interact with but I couldn't find the initial item after some pretty decent exploring. If you were to expand this game, I would add some branching and sign-posting to help for when someone gets stuck. (I won't talk specifics to avoid any spoilers.)

Also, if this genre is something you are interested in making and want to find a community of similar individuals, I am actually a moderator in the Point and Click Discord server, if you would be interested in joining; just let me know and I can send you the invite link.

I’m glad you enjoyed the game :), mine time did get cut short due to power outages here after a storm but yes I would have liked to have more content on the empty items and maybe give more hints with them that’s a good idea I appreciate the feedback thank you!

I've seen the concept before, (I forget the name of the game, but GMTK talked about it in a video once). Really well done. The game is really great overall, and I throuroughly enjoyed myself. Who did kill __person__ though? It seems like most things I could interact with were dead ends, and after I discovered information on who killed __person__, I thought I just had to talk to the intruder again, but apparently I had to do the screwdriver thing again as well. I would like to see more story.

To seperate it from the other game that it is similar to, It might help to have a camera pov change, or a different art style. The way it is, it doesn't add enough.

thank you I’m really glad you enjoyed it, I would have liked to add a little more content and polish it a bit more we actually have had a bad storm pass through and my power has been out so I only got like 3 good days to work on it, this is really my first full game and first game jam so I’m very happy that you enjoyed the game thank you!
