Cool idea and implementation with the randomized mechanic - tricky to pull off, but looks good here. AND you playtested it?! Crazy :)
I love your coloration and theme, but the use of playing cards was novel and brilliant and bears noting. It's a very unique way to create a kettle for level zero players and is suitably lethal as well. Very well done.
The diving suit is giving me some good Lovecraft vibes, that and the choice of color/design. Neat themes!
Excellent work! It seems like a blast. I appreciate the randomized element, and the NPCs are all great. Great use of the source material to inspire a weird adventure.
Thanks! I attempted to make something “randomized”, yet playable. I was concerned it might be too much. I hope I succeeded. In our playtests it seemed to work, but one never knows. Because I “knew” the system, it’s easy to fill in blanks without realizing it.
Thanks again for the feedback!
