I really like the art and animation (:
Even though the combat is a bit strange cause if hitboxes and junk, I really wanna see where this goes cause it's a lot of fun
risk of rain 3 confirmed
Likes:
+ Super cool ideas for attacks. I really like the idea of using different attacks in combo to do new abilities. (Like hitting the sentry to make it send out more shockwaves)
+ Gameplay is inherently fun. Lots of directions to take it and add to it.
+ Attack icons look good and you can pretty much instantly tell what they mean.
+ Funny Sup3r face for sentry
+ Was done in like a few days? Imagine what more time could lead to.
Dislikes:
- Not a lot of feedback when hitting enemies or getting hit.
- Art is pretty mismatched
- Enemies are fairly basic, but still decimate you regardless.
- Sound FX seem to stack and can become really loud.
- No theme :(
With some more juice and gameplay, this could be a fun action game. Until then, I'll keep smiting these aliens with the power of Thor
This is a cool concept, and feels pretty polished despite how apparently rushed it was. The art and animations are well-made (the running and right click attack especially) and fit with the sounds and gameplay. As paisleypug mentioned already, the enemies really need either shorter range or a way to tell where their attacks extend to, but otherwise, the gameplay is decent too.
The enemies feel really bs because their attacks have a strangely high amount of range and because the attacks aren’t telegraphed. You also don’t get any i-frames during your q, so it’s honestly more dangerous to use than to not. The art is pretty nice tho.
Totally not “inspired” by Risk of Rain.
