How did you implement the Theme?
Your only Weapon is Cheese to distract your enemies
How did you implement the Modifiers? (if you did)
1. ONE HIT: You only have 1 HP, if you get hit you need to restart the level you're in.
2. ENEMY OF MY ENEMY: There is another enemy type which will help take care of the rats for you.

I found the premise of a cheese boy running away from mice funny, and the use of mice and cats for the enemy of my enemy to be clever. The controls were responsive, and the character movement felt fast. It could potentially be a stealth game due to the player having to avoid the animals and using resources for distractions.
An improvement would be for the mice and cats to move around in a pattern. This could lead to the player being chased around more often.
I rarely used the cheese at all because the character was fast enough to outrun the mice and cats. I could see how useful it could be when I did use it, and did note that the cheese would eventually vanish after it was interacted with enough times by the mice.
An improvement to the cheese would be to give it other uses outside of just distractions. For example, the cheese could hold a button down in order to keep the exit open. If there were any mice nearby, they would eventually eat the cheese and the button would be raised back up again. This would force the player to move quickly before the cheese is eaten and the exit closes.
Overall, I like the core idea and the premise that was used with it.
Thank you very much for your feedback, it is extremely welcomed :) I mentioned in another reply that I have a list of things I ran out of time to implement, having the mice/cats patrolling was on the list that just didn't make the cut. I am now working on a post-jam release with those improvements as well as your suggestions for using the cheese outside of just distracting as I can see that it will definitely improve the gameplay loop and create more interesting puzzles as well :)
Fun game, played on stream. My usage of the cheese wasn't helpful, but I beat it :D
Thanks for playing! I saw some of the replay as I didn't catch you online, I realized I made the levels too wide in some places (doh!) also the HUD disappeared in later levels (doh again!)... I've got a list of updates to work on from the feedback I've received from everyone which is great :)
Awesome! You're welcome ๐ Oh, I didn't even realize. I felt like I might have speedran the game, my bad ๐
Hey , that's pretty cool . Love this game , it's fun and great to play . I hope you will finish it and make this even better , can't wait to play polished and extended version of this !
Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
Those rats are fast! gave me anxiety haha. Good job, I would have liked to have seen a little more action, but given the time we had to make a game, it's worthy! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it!, yeah I ran out of time for more levels and the extra polish and tweaking some bits... Thanks for the feedback :)
The rats are too slow - I easily managed to finished a runthrough without using cheese at all.
Nice one on getting through it all without using any cheese ๐... honestly the enemies have a bit of a defect, if you keep moving you should be mostly fine as they target where you were when they started moving not where you currently are... I have a couple of updates planned but I won't have time to implement them yet ๐ Thanks for playing and thanks for your feedback!
funny concept and idea, i like it
Simple and fun idea! I enjoyed it! Nice work!
Nice job on your game! I loved the fact that you could barely stop since it kept me interested!
those rats are fast xD but a very fun idea :)
They are indeed haha! Thanks for playing!
