Such a beautiful game ahh! I find the self destruct mechanic really cool. My submission also makes platforms when you die, so I might borrow that in the future, inspired by you! Levels are solid and the movement feels very smooth and fluid. Thank you for the great art and the great game!

The idea and art are soooo great!!! I liked this very much

Thanks!

Great  game. I love the art style for the game, and it fits the overall feel of the game very well. There has also clearly been a lot of work put into the mechanics, and after my dumbass self got told that you use the arrow keys to move and not wasd I found that the movement was nice and snappy. The level design was good, and although I felt as if it could have used more, you did say that your schedule was rough.

The controls were a little hard to get the hang of, but after I got the feel for them I felt like I had a lot of control, which is good for a puzzle/platformer like this.

Overall, it is a very good game and I feel like if it was worked on more then it could make a good actual release.

Wow! Thanks a lot for the kind words, you're so nice!
Actually, we are planning on working more on this and releasing it eventually.

An interesting game, I liked the properties of different elements and their interaction.

I didn't understand why I needed the last pink cube, because the game can be ended without it. It also lacks a bit of polishing, a more responsive interface. Things like pulling the body towards you are very long. And it would also be more convenient to attract them one by one, not all at once.

But in any case, a pleasant game and very beautiful visuals.

Developer(+1)

Glad you found it pleasant!
You were supposed to put the pink cube in the middle of the hole then jump on it to get to the other side. But the ending was sou rushed we didn't have time for playtesting, so we didn't realise you could just make the jump without it.

I don't really understand how to use the magma cube, its jumps seem the same as the other dude so I can't get past the big wall after the spikes. :/

Developer(+1)

Hi, sorry! Should have been more clear about this. The magma cube allows you to jump higher when you step on it as a block. You're supposed to put the dirt cube on top of the spikes, then self destruct as the magma cube on top. Then you can make the jump.

I'm sorry but I don't really understand the controls. Could you tell me them so I can come back and give it a proper rating?

Developer

You move with the arrow keys and jump with spacebar
Pressing "A" opens up the character selection menu
Holding "S" self destructs
Holding "D" retrieves the blocks
And once you get to the cloud block, you can hold "W" to move it

The signs in the game were supposed to tell you this, something must have gone wrong with them
