I like it.More types of enemies and weapons will be a good addition to a game.This is basically "Asteroids" but with actual threat trying to kill you.Music is catchy, i like it too.Also make so mouse dont detect itself when it close to a ship,because it makes angles go wild)
And most important point - where is ai? You just playing game normally,do i miss something?)
The idea of the game was that you own this weapon that has an AI system in it. This AI would know who is moving and target the nearest moving enemy. Since you can move as well, you are a potential target. It is my bad that it isn't written like this anywhere in the game now that I think about it. It is written on the game page where you downloaded it from.
Well i think it is not a best choice of showing AI,cuz i never experienced self targeting.
I think good idea will be - you cant shoot ,AI will do it for you.But u can upgrade it as times goes on.So u can make it more accurate,more powerful or more fast shooting for ex.Or make it moves on some trajectory to closest enemy and you do shooting youself? In current state i dont even understand a point to use AI in this game.Dont be mad at me,its just my opinion,
No, no, I completely understand (I'm not mad :) ). Thanks for all of the suggestions! Of course, there are always many ways to improve any project. The self targeting bit is where a bullet touches an enemy and then changes directions to go for another enemy (then you start getting the combo counter). I understand that it isn't the best choice.

Good game overall but I think it was to easy, if you move forward with this game maybe add some spawn rate acceleration (I'm pretty sure there isn't faster spawn rates as the game goes on).
I enjoyed this game. Visuals and sounds are very good. Also gameplay was very, I had fun gathering enemies in crowds and then finish them off. For me it's solid 5/5.
very very nice, a lot of fun with simple nice visuals, movement is not very intuitive but you get used to it and it doesn't take away from the experience!
This is pretty fun and actually quite polished, the only thing I feel is a little bit off is the movement that is guided by both the mouse and WASD. Despite that, you have a pretty good take on the theme with a neat idea that is executed rather well, and I love the additions of upgrades, even though most of the time you won't be shooting a lot to avoid eating your own bullets and actually taking the time to aim. The music is nice, and so are the SFX. Also, props to you for making this with C++, that alone deserved a shoutout I feel like.

I enjoyed this, the bullets have very simple AI and I think that it's more of a competition rather than cooperation, but the longer the game got the more fun that simple AI provided for me. It's a shame that the difficulty curve ramps up slowly and you can lose everything in an unfortunate accident. Would like more gun based upgrades, smaller enemies and maybe AI based on boids.
