I like the vibes!
Really liked the vibe!
creepy as, some music would've been nice but i loved it nonetheless
Yeah, the inclusion of AI generated images and the animated text really intrigued me. A full story with this concept would be really cool, I'd even throw out a few dollars for it on here or Steam!
Really intriguing premise, and I love the way you've used DALL-E art in this! Very clever. Nothing like a bit of 日本語 and some creepy black and white imagery to instill a spooky sense of atmosphere 😁I'm not sure if there are multiple endings, but I made it to a "Thank you for playing!" screen by going north and through some kind of trap door? Was there a way to beat the enemy in the forest, or was that a forced death?
Nitpicks:
Unfortunately there is only one ending, the story is also a bit lacking. The enemy in the forest is completely forced. There was an idea to add more fights and more story, but I was short on time already. Text is also problematic, which I would like to fix after the jam. I wish I could've shown this more clearly, but the idea was that the skill you obtained earlier had some kind of problem exploring another place, and you got forcefully "teleported". Thanks for playing and feedback!
I did not expect a game like this one in submissions, I have to say it's a pleasant surprise. Really smart use of dall.e, I feel like I should have used it as well to make a different game XD. Great job!
Nice ideas and cool atmosphere. I would not let the player completely skip the text upon clicking once, on my first playthrough I just clicked and skipped most of it, and you can't even know when it's finished. It would be better if clicking just makes all of the text appear instead of having to wait for it, so that you still see it all and can read it, or if that's too much work just don't allow the player to skip.
There seem to be some issues with the Japanese in that screenshot, I believe the correct spelling would be:
で、死んでブラウザのウェブゲームにリスピーンした
I had correct spelling somewhere, but yours looks close enough. Cover corrected with, what I think is, proper spelling. About text, you're right, I should've made it finish animation early rather than skip text completely. Thanks for constructive critique!
yeah it's correct now
Really fun and cool game! I really liked the unique art style, good job!
