I think the goal was to find the green and block components, however I am not sure what the hearts were for. I also coudn't attack (no animation or weapon happened when pressing C). I could also walk of the map, but that isn't a big deal. The guy also looked quite good.
Hi, thanks for your feedback.
Since the theme was everything interacts with everything we wanted to give a more "physical" approach to the player's health and weapons in general. So in this case you can pick anything on the ground (heart, components and swords) and they can all serve as a weapon.
The health management is done in the player's spawn area (the crash site) so if you want more life, you can bring more heart to the spawn, but the twist is that enemies can also go to your spawn and pick them up (shich can kill you if you don't have any left).
Normally there would have been more ennemies (where the main mechanic would have been more present) but a last second bug with the AI made it hard to scale the number of ennemies.
As I understand the instructions werent't clear enough, which is understandeable since it was made last minute. We'll try to improve it in a possible future update.
Thank you and have a nice day.
I love the main character as well. Overall the game has a pretty cool look to it!
I agree that the maps are too big and the amount of enemies too low. You spend most of the time searching without anything interesting going on.
Collecting health physically in a certain location on the map is a pretty cool idea! Would love to see how that plays out in action.
Good result for the time you had. Hope you keep working on it for a bit. :)
Main character is super fun.
