The menus and stuff were cool at the start but i found the control scheme made the game unnecessarily difficult, its almost impossible to play with WASD. I think putting jump on up arrow and space to shoot wouldve made it more enjoyable.
You can try with arrow keys on right and space & z with left hand. Sorry about that, I should have made it like you said but it didn't strike me much while making the game
A good way to prevent the player from being able to camp outside the range of the bugs would be to increase the range by an incredibly large amount. It'd also be good to offset the camera so you can see a bit further, because the player moves so fast

Epic introduction. I'm not a fan of this graphic and the gameplay is so frustrating because your character slides like soap.
Pretty neat game! Love the incorporation of the story, it really made it stand out. I did find it a bit tedious to have to inch forward and kill any bug that was on the edge of my screen. Also, the player moves really quickly and its easy for them to become out of control, which got frustrating. Other than that, though, really solid game! Definitely enjoyed playing!
Making the player slow , would make it easy for the player to camp outside and kill the bugs . So i made the player move faster to ensure some competition. Thanks for ur suggestion and great that u enjoyed the game!
this game is great except for the fact that you can just camp outside of the bugs range and kill them while they are still which makes the game a bit boring
Yea, I tried to fix that but couldn't think of any way and jam was almost at its end. But thought in order to be fastest , camping outside the bugs range wouldnt be the best option, so went with this anyway. Thanks for your suggestion , ll try to improve it.
