This one really resonated with me. I've always been one to say, that "punk is undead", because it has become a zombie walking, animated by marketability at this point, at least in public perception. And I think "indie" as a term definitely has this same development going on, games being called indie for aesthetics and an overall "feel" to the consumer, even if they are fully integrated into the "invest -> generate capital" mechanics, sometimes even with big financing behind them.

I wonder what concrete measures of organisation and connection could be done, to counteract that trend or at least, create as much of an alternative creative space outside of it. 🤔
