Hi! Thank you for all your lovely feedback! I'm still working away at the ninja mode + the GB studio pallet for these characters. I haven't yet put together a full set of GB Pallet Ninjas but I would create those if it's something you're wanting to work with. Here's a sneak peek at the look of the ninjas in color. (Almost done, just working on sword+shield states). I'll attach a screenshot of the GB pallet mode too.  I have made a few GB Studio demos with these assets but they do take up a lot of the available character tiles so getting the animation states just right can be a small challenge. Thanks again for your support and kind words.
